Bardobec cedar shingles are sold to the customer in squares. Depending on the width of exposure, each square covers an area between 80 and 120 sq. ft

1 square 4 in. (10 cm) 80 sq. ft. (7.3 m2)
1 square 5 in. (12.5 cm) 100 sq. ft. (9.3 m2)

Once they have been installed, cedar shingles can be left in their natural state. Over time, they will take on a beautiful silver-grey colour, which those in the know will find particularly attractive for its distinctive aesthetic quality. Cedar shingles can also be stained or painted, depending on the tastes of the consumer. These different choices allow our customers to personalize the exterior appearance of their building. And often these options can be yet another reason for choosing this type of covering.

Cedar shims

Cedar shims come from cedar shingles. During sorting those cedar shingles that do not meet our strict production standards are transformed into cedar shims. Just like standard shingles, cedar shims are of a very high quality, as well as being very useful in the construction industry.

This product is available in bundles of 42 shims. The dimensions are as follows:

42 shims
Width 1 1/2 in. (38.1 mm)
Thickness 3/8 in. (9.52 mm)

Cedar shims represent an excellent way to protect the environment, as they make it possible to use raw materials to the maximum extent.
